BAD TRACKING & VIDEO CAPTURE FREEZE FRAMES

The first and last images of this post are frames of original VHS footage, with colors modified. The images in between are single frame captures taken of children’s educational videos, imported from a VCR with bad tracking.
This totally reminds me of that still I took from Armageddon (1998)

This blog post inspires me..my VCR is totally fucked up and would make a perfect catalyst for pictures like the ones you posted.

“MORE PLEASE” is a request I can definitely fulfill - I have so many tapes that would work well for distorting and capturing frames. For lots of posts on the site I hope to follow up with part 2, part 3, etc, as I can.
Your Armageddon photo is great! I’d like to use it (and any other low res snaps of TV screens) in an upcoming post.
I already put out a call out on facebook and have gotten some SWEET ones from people. SO watch for that soon. And then, later, part 2 and 3…?
